3D Modeling
Hotel Room
Time allowed: six weeks.
All modeling was done in Maya, textures in Photoshop and Adobe Substance 3D Painter. Two .jpg files were pulled from Google Images for the photo frame and the tv.
This room is loosely inspired by the "Atomic Bombshell" room at the Trixie Motel. I pulled from the retrofuturism aspects of the original room for the additions that I included.
It is a hotel room with an added living room, I chose minimal clutter to replicate a true hotel. I changed the original color palette to be warmer with a lot of orange and yellow to make it more like the retrofuturism trends from the 1960's.
